This hotel is very basic and perhaps not the most comfortable but it is CHEAP, centrally located and the management are genuinely very friendly and helpful.

The management run by two brothers is very helpful. Would recommend it to budget travellers who want to avoid the crush of sultanahmet area.

The staff is incredibly friendly. They let us stay in a double room with bathroom for the price of a shared room. They are happy to recommend places to see in Istanbul and like to chat about anything.

Excellent value and staff go out of their way to help and check everything is OK.Allow extra time if taking the shuttle bus to the airport. Mine came 20 minutes late
